The Shropshire Brewer

"We are a small craft brewery located in the beautiful Shropshire countryside where we specialise in producing a small range of high quality real ales using only the finest raw materials. We currently have four permanent beers and we produce seasonal specials when capacity allows. All of our beers are carefully and lovingly handcrafted in our 5 Barrel brewhouse (that's 1,440 pints) where we brew at least twice a week.
We name all of our beers after Shropshire's legends, be they mythical or real; some you may know, some you may not. We like to think of each ale we make as a celebration of our county's wonderfully rich heritage."
The brewhouse is in a converted stable adjacent to the brewery tap, The Red Lion at Longden Common where the ales are thoroughly tested by the pub's regular clientele before being unleashed on the wider drinking community.
