Bennetts Farmhouse

The Bennetts family heritage started with the birth of Robert Bennett in St Ives in 1870. He was a remarkably hard working Cornishman and his success enabled him to buy Manor Farm in Worcestershire in 1918. Together with his son Stanley he started dairy farming, which is now in the hands of the Christopher and Tristan, 4th and 5th generation respectively.
Today two of Robert Bennett's great grandsons, Keith and Duncan, run the Ice Cream business, whilst Christopher manages the farm.
Chris and Tristan, the farmer Bennetts, tend a herd of over 240 Holstein/ Friesian cows at Manor Farm. In the summer months, the cows are set out to graze on our luscious pastures, set between the rivers Severn and Teme.

The cows are milked twice a day, and the creamiest and freshest morning milk is then collected, pasteurised and turned into delicious ice cream within 24 hours.
