Family run brewery, situated on the Cambrian Railway Line, Oswestry
An Aussie by birth, raised in NZ, and married to local lass Alison, Shane Parr dreamed up the brewery plan, back in 2002. He’s still constantly thinking of greater things for Stonehouse. He’s a stickler for consistency and perfection in his beers.
"The brewery is still a small family business, which has created jobs for twelve people since our start-up in 2007. We have recently constructed a purpose built, energy efficient brew house, and although we have seen a lot of interest in our products since winning a national gold award at SIBA, we are firmly committed to not taking over the world."
